What type of music does the Duo play.

Although Mwynion Mai Flute & Harp Duo is perhaps best known for performing Welsh melodies these only form a small part of a very extensive repertoire of classical, light and pop music which together with many themes from shows, film and TV allows the Duo to select music to cater for almost any kind of event.

What kind of events are suitable for the Duo.

The Duo has performed at Office Openings, Product Launches, Conferences, Exhibitions and VIP visits but they are most commonly booked to perform at Drinks Receptions, Dinners and Formal Banquets.

What scale of event are suitable for the Duo.

The size of the event does not normally matter. The duo have performed at events with guest attendance ranging from 12 to 2,000. At certain events, such as dinners for over about 500 guests amplification may be required.

If you are planning a dinner with live music why not make a theme for the evening. The duo are always willing to discuss your requirements and help come up with some suggestions.

One recent example was where Opera was the theme. The food served all had connections with the opera - such as Peach Melba for dessert. The duo played music from various opera as well as accompanying vocalists.

One event we were approached for was a Heaven & Hell Party. The Duo had to provide music suitable for one of the rooms, if memory serves me correctly it was the Heavenly Room!
